Young Fundraiser Show Great Goals
10 year-old Cassandra jumped at the opportunity to help children her age. She reached her goal of $250 with the support of her mom and grandma, and even enlisted her school to display various Kids Help Phone materials prior to the Walk. And then… she decided to run the entire route The first to arrive at the finish line, Cassandra cheered on the remainder of the walkers when they arrived some 20 minutes later.
Cassandra proves that it doesn’t matter how old you are to make a difference.
In Yorkton, we raised $7,000 thanks to so many amazing volunteers, walkers and community supporters. Thank you everyone who joined us on May 2nd despite the SNOW we received that weekend!
