Each year, Sandra Testa chooses to support Kids Help Phone at the Montreal Walk but also by involving part of the Montreal Italian Community. Indeed, she now organizes an Italian dinner every year, to promote the service, the Walk and to involve the community. The event initially started with members of her family and Parmalat colleagues, but is now an occasion for 250 to 300 people to get together, eat well and support Kids Help Phone.

CGI surprised everyone with a Flash Mob in Quebec City, at the Walk site on Place D’Youville. One hundred participants danced to U2’s A Beautiful Day message. The theme and chosen song, delivered a message of hope to kids living through difficult times. Created in support of Kids Help Phone, this special fundraising activity also allowed CGI to raise more for the charity. See the Flash Mob here.
Victoriaville
Sometimes you Just Need to ask to Receive Fantastic Community Support
During the Walk in Victoriaville, a devoted Parmalat employee started speaking to people working or lounging on their garden. He would explain he was walking for Kids Help Phone and was collecting funds. After some success, and with the permission of restaurant managers, he did the same with their patrons. He collected an additional 168$ in one hour!
